Saved Eastern US Rails Games

These are games that have been saved from the original (PC) version of Railroad Tycoon. Two versions of each game are included: the bare startup map and the game as I finished it.

The challenge (so to speak) is to start with the same bare map and improve on my performance. Note that my game's course can easily be retraced, if desired, using the History and Accomplishments commands.

DISCLAIMER: These aren't necessarily my best games ever: they're just some of the better recent efforts.

This was the first game I ever "won" (i.e., made it to President of the US) at the Tycoon level.

Directions (It's really easy...)

1. Click the Download button to get a self-extracting file.
2. Place the executable file (it will be named something like TY_EUS1.EXE) inside your railroad tycoon directory.
3. If you have saved games that you want to preserve, move them to a safe place. The only files that will be installed are named rr0.map, rr0.sve, rr1.map, and rr1.sve.
4. Execute the self-extracting file (i.e., double-click on it or type its filename from a command line).
